What the platform does
Find My Doo connects customers with independent hair professionals. We are a booking and discovery platform: the hair service itself is provided by the professional, who sets their own prices, availability, travel rules and policies.
Professional membership
Professionals pay a monthly membership to list a profile and take bookings. Founding members keep their founding rate while they remain continuously subscribed. A platform commission of 10% of the service price applies to completed services and is deducted from the deposit before it is paid out to the professional.
Deposits and payments
Customers pay a deposit of 30% of the service price to hold an appointment. The balance is paid to the professional on the day. Card payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; the platform never stores card details.
Arrival and completion
The guest alone receives an expiring one-time arrival code. The stylist verifies it to record arrival, then requests completion for the guest to confirm separately. No response stays pending; disputed earnings stay held. Grace periods and response/dispute deadlines require explicit owner settings. Weekly bank payouts are separate from the platform’s internal earning release.
Cancellation, no-show and rescheduling
If you cancel or do not attend, your paid deposit is forfeited to the stylist in full, with no platform commission, under our standard policy. A no-show claim can be made 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment start. You have 48 hours following the completion or no-show claim notification to respond or dispute. Unanswered claims go to admin review; silence never confirms a claim or releases money. Arrival and requested completion are not final confirmation. Guest-confirmed completion remains subject to the dispute and payout protection window. Disputed earnings remain held. This does not affect any rights you have by law, and our team can make an exception in genuine cases. You may reschedule at least 24 hours before your current appointment, subject to availability. Your deposit carries over, with no rescheduling fee or price change. Within the final 24 hours, use Get help for support review; requesting a change does not cancel your booking or forfeit your deposit. Find My Doo covers card payment-processing costs. The stylist's promised amount is never reduced by processing fees, and guests are never charged a payment surcharge. On a completed appointment the platform keeps its 10% commission of the service price and absorbs processing costs from it. On a guest cancellation or client no-show the full collected deposit goes to the stylist with no platform commission. On a stylist cancellation or no-show the full deposit is refunded to the guest.
Conduct
Professionals must hold any insurance and qualifications required for their work and must describe their services accurately. Customers must provide accurate contact and address details. Accounts may be suspended for abuse, fraud or repeated no-shows.
Liability
The platform is not the provider of the hair service and does not guarantee the outcome of an appointment. Disputes should be raised with the professional first and can then be escalated to us. [Placeholder — requires legal review.]
